User ID Request
Before you begin...
If the address printed on your Driver License, Identification Card or other correspondence mailed from the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission is not your current mailing address, do not log in. You must change your address with the Commission before requesting a User Identification Number.
If you need to make an address change, you may do so at the MVC Address Change Site
Notice
You will need the following items to start the User ID Request process:
- A valid Drivers License Number
- A valid Social Security Number
A letter containing your User Identification Number will be mailed to your address on file with the Motor Vehicle Commission.
The U.S. Postal Service will NOT forward these letters.
